When I saw these two live last year, Rachel told the story of Vilray calling her in the middle of the night, saying “can you believe nobody’s written a song called Even In The Evening?!”. The title was so good, Vilray had to use it. Here’s the song that resulted.

Where did you see them live last year? Neither they nor Lake Street Dive currently have touring schedules.

It was at a small theater in mid January last year in Washington DC. It was just the two of them – it was excellent!
