Well, just at first. A lot went into that though; unmitigated freedom to do whatever I wanted, a pile of projects I desperately wanted to pursue, a pandemic shutdown that lasted over a year…..
All of these things combined to have me flirting with a schedule disaster, just when I was supposed to be on top of my own world; totally free and unrestricted, able to spend my time however I wanted.

The funny thing is, quitting my full time job gave me so much unstructured time that I kind of became restricted by the freedom. I was doing the projects I wanted to do, but was doing them all the time with no break or balance.
This is the topic of my latest post at Wise & Shine Magazine. You can read it here.
I had to reboot myself a bit and realize that structure and freedom are both necessary ingredients to a balanced and happy life, at least for me anyway.
