First, let me clarify that the place is not actually called pumpkin world – that’s just my nickname for it.

Iron Kettle Farms is a roadside gem we passed by chance last year near Candor, New York. As soon as we drove by, I turned the car around and went back.

I’m glad we did! They’ve got a great farm & store with all sorts of fall events, displays, activities, etc. If you’re ever in the area, you should stop by and check it out. In the meantime – here’s a bunch of pictures of what we saw, particularly the painted pumpkin display.

Most of the displays depicted nursery rhymes…

There are pumpkins everywhere and plenty for sale.
They have a full petting zoo, including many living animals…
And a few dead ones like this😁
Tammy was not really into doing the corn maze in the steady drizzle and mud, but we went anyway, and it was great-at least I thought so! 😅
They also have a haunted house.

Happy Halloween! 🎃

Hey- don’t forget to read this fine print…
