April seemed to go really fast and really slow at the same time. It felt quick, but when I look at those pictures from early in the month, it seems like they were taken last year. Special shout out to our awesome neighbor Shirley who passed this month- Rest In Peace Dog Whisperer GrandmaMa.

April 1– Spring break! Where else would we go?! 😁 Rehoboth Beach, DE
April 2- 9 mile hike in our favorite place, Cape Henlopen State Park. near Rehoboth Beach, DE
April 3- Got a few hours of beach time in before heading home. Rehoboth Beach, DE
April 4– Epic Easter Eve Concert & Live Art. You can’t tell, but I’m in the trumpet section right in front of Jesus 😁. Lancaster, PA
April 5– Accompanying the handbells and choir for Easter morning services at Derry Presbyterian. Hershey, PA

April 12– Last Fever Pitch rehearsal with our guests singers before our big event this month. The Hot Box-Mountville, PA

April 14– Team dog sitting effort, shuttling Willow back and forth between both of her “Grandparent Dog Resorts”. Lititz, PA
April 15- our beloved next door neighbor Shirley, aka GrandmaMa. Rest In Peace ❤️ Lititz, PA

Busy day ends at Fulton Theater, seeing a totally outstanding production of one of my favorite shows- Hairspray. Lancaster, PA
April 17– It’s been so crazy warm that the backyard crabapple tree bloomed 7-10 days early.😱 Still looks great though! Lititz, PA
Len & Gina got a new deck and it’s pretty sweet! It has the magical power of making wives fall asleep way early!😂 Elizabethtown, PA
April 18– Verdi Requiem by Harrisburg Symphony and Choir was excellent!! Harrisburg, PA
April 19– The Miles & Trane Centennial Jam was amazing! I was the house band trumpet player but there were so many students signed up to play that I left the stage after the opening tune and never came back up! I can’t believe how good these kids are! The Shirt Factory, Lititz, PA
April 20- I was pretty impressed that my water mug and my jacket matched exactly, but that bright light at the top of the frame ruined the pic 😂 more Music In The Schools, Lancaster, PA

April 24Funktion gig for Milton Hershey School Alumni Association. Hershey, PA
April 25– This expanded version of Fever Pitch played an event for the Medenbach Foundation, the de facto alumni association for the historic Valley Forge Military Academy, which sadly is closing this year. Malvern, PA
April 26– Finishing this excellent series with a mini- binge. Lititz, PA
April 27- You know it’s a relaxing day when the highlight is a few new flowers on the azalea bush. Lititz, PA
April 28– Dad seemed to win on every machine he played today!🤑Hollywood Casino, Grantville, PA
April 29– Our last Music In The Schools presentation after a very busy spring. Manheim, PA
April 30- Todd Fulginiti Quartet after playing a very large cocktail hour for a United Disabilities Services event. Lancaster, PA
They expected about 1000 people and they may have had that many!
