This month marks the 1 year anniversary of these photo journal posts, and I still enjoy making them. It helps me build gratitude and it’s fun. I was lucky this month to have had some very busy gig weekends. It was great, but the downside might be that it makes for a bloated (48 pic) photo album full of music pics. I certainly don’t blame you if you aren’t interested, but if you are, 48 await!
September 1– Labor Day Monday plus a surprisingly cool August means cold water temps and an early “last swim of the season” at my in-law’s pool. Quarryville, PASeptember 2- Fun concert with Mission Impossible at the Shannondell community. What a great theater space they have! Audubon, PASeptember 3– when you go to Hoover’s Farm Market, you have to visit the chickens! 🐔 Lititz, PASeptember 4- Retro movie night with the neighbors at Penn Cenima. I saw The Goonies for the first time. Lititz, PA
September 5– Led a jazz quintet with Bailey and friends during the day………. Intercourse, PAAnd led a brass quartet with other friends for a hymn sing at night. From left: Ally, Tam, me, Dad (Mom insisted on taking the pic so she didn’t have to be in it- she hates being in pics!) Towson, MDSeptember 8– One of my favorites! Miller’s is not just for tourists- they have great Lancaster County dishes and soup like my grandmothers used to make. Lancaster, PASeptember 9– Vinyl Groov Alumni reunion lunch! Internet, EarthSeptember 17– After many of months of pressure from the kids, Tam and I finally started watching Ted Lasso. They were right- it’s great! Wow – what a month! A lot of driving and zero emissions. That’s amazing. I actually like the first photo of the swimming pool the best – it’s so cool! And that’s a big tree cutting truck. You weren’t kidding! I can imagine your lederhosen will get good use in October! Thanks for the round up!
Fun montage of photos. Keep it going.
