April was a long and busy month, but also a good one. There was a lot of stuff going on, but that seems just about normal. I broke my own rules and posted more than one pic per day this month 😅

I’m proud of her too! Bethlehem, PAApril 7– Intentional photo bomb after a gig with daughter Bailey and soon-to-be- son-in-law Tom. Yeah I know it might be nepotistic to have them on my gigs, but I’m cool with it. Lititz PAApril 8- It’s amazing how something that used to be so beautiful (the forest that existed here centuries ago) can still be so beautiful as a farm field. Lititz, PAApril 9– Prime Example (funky jazz) at Tellus 360. Another gig sponsored by Music Performance Trust Fund to celebrate April as Jazz Appreciation Month. Lancaster PAApril 10– up early (BOO!) for another round of “cutting shit out of my wrist”. Hopefully that’s it now. Harrisburg, PAApril 14– Look at this magnolia tree outside my bassist friend’s house. Jazz inside, flowers outside – now that’s a nice property! Reading, PAApril 15– Roob! We found Philly’s most prominent and well-respected Eagles beat writer/analyst having lunch in a little cafe 2 blocks from our house! I was tempted to sit beside him and talk some Birds, but didn’t.. Lititz, PAApril 16– Fun night with my brother and his wife, Mom, Dad and Tammy. Lancaster, PAApril 17– my first service as bugler with the Red Rose Honor Guard. Willow Street, PAStill April 17- Tam had a half day at school, so we went to our favorite ice cream place. But while there, decided to go to the beach on a whim. We left the ice cream place at 4pm and got to Rehoboth by nightfall. Rehoboth Beach, DEApril 18– Spent Good Friday at the beach instead of going to church. I hope God isn’t pissed! Rehoboth Beach, DEStill April 18- Soaking up some sun on a windy April beach day. Rehoboth Beach, DEStill April 18- a grim face for the grim future of this iconic building which, after being the most memorable on the boardwalk for over a century, gets demolished this month to make way for a new hotel. It was the former home of Dolle’s Candyland. Rehoboth Beach, DEApril 19– The Easter version of our blow mold Christmas light display. Lititz, PAApril 20– P.C.King and I were the trumpet section for Easter services at Derry Presbyterian. Hershey, PAStill April 20- and here’s the rest of the crew. Hershey, PAStill April 20- It’s the Easter Bailey! Great vibes! Lancaster PA.April 26– It was fun doing music with this guy again! Emmett is a singer who graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy, and is an officer in its fundraising organization.I put a band together for him to lead at their annual event. Malvern, PAApril 27- Jazz Appreciation Month continues with Prime Example playing at The T Shirt Factory. I could walk to the gig! Lititz, PAApril 28– I introduced brass instruments to a group of elementary kids and was very impressed with these pencil-poles! Oh my goodness. I’ll need to go back and review again, but the April 3 pic — with the woman in turquoise, face palming in your direction as you played…I hope she wasn’t giving harsh commentary, LOL! 🤣🥰🤣
Oh my goodness – there is so much here, Todd. Musicals and medicine. But I also love the staged photos, the beach, the photo bomb. Incredible goodness! What a month! Here’s to May!
