French composer Claude Debussy wrote this solo piano piece in 1890, when he was in his late 20’s. The piece was part of a larger work called Suite Bergamasque and is one of the handful of classical pieces that most people have heard or will recognize today.
The title translates to English as “Moonlight”, and I think Debussy captured that image and feeling to perfection.
Just close your eyes for 5 minutes and listen to this. Hopefully it will either give you chills, send you into deep relaxation, or both.
Performed here by pianist Liah Yuval.

Oh, thank you, Todd. My mother was a pianist and how I miss her fingers playing Debussy. I know it spoke deeply to her spirit…I just went to the shelf and pulled out the music…I will try. It’s been years. ❤️
