It may seem like photo journal overkill with this month’s regular photo post plus the Christmas decoration bonus edition from a few days ago. Maybe one day I’ll get back to actually writing stuff- but in the meantime, here are some pics from my favorite month of the year.
December 1– Ally’s dog Willow doesn’t seem too excited about us decorating her apartment for Christmas. Towson, MD.December 2- Time to set up the blow mold light collection- now bigger and better than ever! Lititz, PADecember 3- the living room tree is up! (We have a Christmas tree in every room of our house🎄). Lititz, PADecember 4– Playing some holiday jazz for a dinner party with Todd Fulginiti Quartet. Leola, PADecember 5– With Dave Winter Group at our last ballroom dance gig for The Four Nighters Club. Dave has been playing this club for 25 years! Coatesville, PADecember 6- Tammy (wife) at Koziar Christmas Village- the place is amazing!! Bernville, PADecember 7- an outdoor garden party gig honoring Santa Claus? Count me in! Carlisle, PADecember 8- Cousins on the train at Strasburg Railroad with Holiday Horns! Strasburg, PADecember 8– wedding gig with Modern Luxe at The Franklin Institute. Philadelphia, PADecember 9– Blowmolds, front of house, part 1. Lititz, PADecember 10– Blowmolds, front of house, part 2. Lititz, PADecember 11– Blowmolds, front of house, part 3. Lititz, PADecember 12– Caroling gig with Yuletide Voices. I love the goat sweater but not really the hat. Quarryville, PADecember 13– Bailey’s old bedroom has a new look. Lititz, PADecember 14- Corporate party with Modern Luxe. Philadelphia, PADecember 15- someone on Facebook posted our high school band photo from my senior year. Can you find me and my wife? J.P. McCaskey High School,Lancaster, PA 1987December 16– Mom, Bailey & Dad at Bailey & Tom’s engagement party. Lititz, PADecember 17- brother Jason, Dad and I doing a little Christmas season gambling. Granville, PADecember 19- a rare big band gig-filling in with The Last Big Band. Pottstown, PADecember 20– Ally (& Alec)’s wedding venue looks great in the snow; but there won’t be any of that on the big day in August. Gordonville, PADecember 21– a rare and beautiful snow over the farms along the Strasburg Railroad- a perfect accompaniement for 9 hours of brass playing. Strasburg, PADecember 23– Christmas part 1 with everybody including Ally and her dog Willow. Lititz, PADecember 24– not the most reverent photo for Christmas Eve but Santa’s stance and the sausage were too good to pass up…..Lititz, PADecember 24– Later that night; playing Midnight Mass at the church I grew up in, St. Joseph Catholic. Lancaster, PADecember 24– 2:30am Christmas morning- the downside of Midnight Mass 😅 Lititz, PADecember 25– Christmas part 2- Bailey (daughter) Tammy (wife) and I at Mom & Dad’s. Lancaster, PADecember 27– unofficial family member Len Sweeney’s surprise birthday party. Lititz, PADecember 28– A play on adult story of Cindy Lou Who’s post Grinch life. Fulton Theater, Lancaster, PADecember 29– watching my all time favorite Christmas show in the basement, because that’s where we can still play dvd’s. Lititz, PADecember 30- snooping around cool buildings in New York City December 30- this scene is iconic for good reason. Rockefeller Center, New York City.December 30- Radio City Music Hall with Tammy to see the famous Christmas Spectacular show. New York CityDecember 30- the city was so crowded but still fun! New York CityDecember 31- Bringing in the New Year playing with the Funktion band at Hollywood Casino. York, PA
Oh my goodness. These are fantastic! I love the pacing of the presentation, too! Starting off with Willow’s face…I mean…could she have conveyed “not into it” any better? Love the family pics – your folks look great – and all the tinsel-y goodness throughout. And thank you for the Santa pic toward the end…how could you NOT capture that moment? Thanks for the smiles, Todd! 😜🥰😜
